It requires a national professional qualification for headship (NPQH) degree to qualify for this course. More often than not, this degree involves around 30 semester hours of coursework. This course is designed particularly for candidates, who are already working as senior managers in schools or who undertake other roles as senior managers within the field of education like teacher advisors.
Pre-requisites for getting an admission to the Mater in educational leadership course:

- A grade point average of 2.75 or better on a 4.0 scale in an undergraduate program from an accredited university or college.
