Jobs in Education

When you grow up, one of the questions that many people ask you is, what do you what to be when you grow up?  For many people, this answer is that they want jobs in education.  Jobs in education are extremely rewarding and there are tons of benefits to working in the educational system. 

One main benefit of having jobs in education is that you get the summers of if you want to!  While jobs in education can sometimes be stressful and tiring, the great reward of being able to stay home with your family and enjoy the summer weather is a huge bonus.  The time off in the summer can be spent doing volunteer work, tutoring students, babysitting, or just enjoying your family.  This is a benefit that many people with jobs in education have. 

Another benefit of having jobs in education is that you get to see change and growth in your students almost daily.  This is extremely exciting and rewarding, and allows teachers to really see the results of their work on a daily basis.  Many jobs are much more monotonous and it is much harder to see the fruits of your labor, especially on a daily basis. 

Still another benefit of having jobs in education is that your day to day life varies completely every single day.  Some days you will deal with explaining new knowledge to eager children, while other days you will have to deal with developmental problems or family problems that are going on at a child's home. 

A teacher can decide how to go about teaching children certain topics in a different way each time they teach a class, allowing your creative juices to continue to flow.  This is why jobs in education can be extremely rewarding for the perfect person.
