Abstract: Schools have a vested interest in involving parents in their children's education. Notes the attitudes of schools toward homosexual parents and students, which keep parents from participating and make parents fear for their children's safety. Parents (gay and straight) discuss their children (gay and straight), describing how all of their lives are affected by the typical school composition. (SM)
